Primal Magic

Use Kokorek's Talisman near the totems that guard the path to Veil Shalas, then speak with Prospector Balmoral or Lookout Nodak.

• Use Kokorek's Talisman
• Kokorek's Talisman (Provided)

I've stored the spell inside this talisman. Unleash it while standing near the totems that guard the approach to Veil Shalas. It should be sufficient to unravel the wards.

<You mention that the figure in the talisman doesn't especially resemble an arakkoa.>

My people weren't always as they appear now. We were once magnificent creatures, but we... we made many ill-advised choices and failed in our sacred task. It cost us our beauty, our power, and very nearly our lives. Do not repeat our mistakes,.

If the talisman's spell worked, then you should be ready to venture into Veil Shalas. I hope your arakkoa sage was telling you the truth when he said that his magic was stronger than that ward's. If he's deceiving us, both you and [Deirom/Dugar] are in trouble.

Upon completion of this quest you will gain:

• 10000 XP (or at level 70)

• 1) Prospector Balmoral (quest) or Lookout Nodak (quest)
• 2) Scouting the Defenses
• 3) Seeking Help from the Source
• 4) A Show of Good Faith
• 5) The Final Reagents
• 6) Primal Magic
• 7) Rescue Deirom! or Rescue Dugar!
