Tier 10

Last wiki revision 2022-08-26

Tier 10 is the armor set associated with Icecrown Citadel, which was released in patch 3.3.0.

Each set consists of five pieces. Tier 10 has three ranks:

  • Lower rank tier 10 set pieces (item level 251) are purchasable using gold from class vendors. Gloves and leg items of this rank are also dropped by Toravon the Ice Watcher in Vault of Archavon in 10 player mode.
  • The normal version of tier 10.5 set pieces, sometimes called the "Sanctified" version or "tier 10.264", can be bought as an upgrade from the class vendors if you have the lower tier version. Tier pieces are upgraded by using a token from the 10-man heroic version or the 25-man version of Icecrown Citadel, called Mark of Sanctification. Gloves and leg items of this rank are also dropped by Toravon in 25 player mode.
  • The heroic version of tier 10.5 set pieces, sometimes called the "Heroic Sanctified" version or "tier 10.277", can be bought as an upgrade from the class vendors if you have the normal tier 10.5 "Sanctified" version. Tier pieces are upgraded by using the 25-man heroic version of the token from Icecrown Citadel: Mark of Sanctification (heroic).

No matter which level of tier 10 is worn, all pieces count toward the same set bonuses. All the tier pieces can be bought from class vendors at Light's Hammer inside Icecrown Citadel.

As with all loot tokens, there are three types:
