Black Temple attunement (April Fools)

On April Fools' Day 2007, Blizzard released a "sneak peek" of the attunement chart for Burning Crusade, done in much the same way that the actual attunement chart was set up for Mount Hyjal. This fictitious version of the attunement chain had players start by speaking with Akama in Shadowmoon Valley after reaching standing with Ashtongue Deathsworn and completing all of David Wayne's quests in Terokkar Forest. Before the release of Black Temple in Patch 2.1, it was impossible to even reach standing with the Deathsworn...

In an epic adventure surpassing the War of the Shifting Sands and the opening of the gates of Ahn'Qiraj, players will be able to participate in an all-encompassing race to unlock the secrets of the Black Temple.

Illidan's mysteries are not for the unprepared, and players will need to ensure that they can overcome every challenge on the path to conquering the citadel of the Betrayer. In a series of quests and tests ranging from the depths of Molten Core, to the heights of Karazhan, the most dedicated and committed of players will win through to obtain the fabled Key which will then enable the player to Master Them All.

Who knows what resistance will be thrown against Azeroth's greatest heroes in this time of trial and triumph? The Burning Legion is unlikely to resist the opportunity to wreak revenge on the one who betrayed Kil'jaeden...

The original implementation's been archived at <http://web.archive.org/web/20070406181929/http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/btattunement/>, but the important bits are listed here until I come up with something. If you have an idea, please feel free to implement it! I'm currently thinking about using something like the technique, but I dunno how to get the tooltips to display using our js. uses two s, which doesn't appear to work.
