The "high vantage point" is the top of the scout tower just inside Hearthglen at, guarded by level 55-56 s, along with the rest of the mobs between the front gate and the tower.

At the completion of this quest, Kirsta says she will "report this to Elling... I mean Stormwind" a reference to the master spy, Elling Trias.

Until patch 2.3, this was a group quest as Hearthglen was filled with elite mobs.
