Lightning Overload

Lightning Overload is a passive talent that gives your Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning spells a chance to cast a second, similar spell on the same target with no cost. This second spell is instant, causes half damage and no threat.

• Spells cast due to this talent behave completely equal to their base spells.
• The net effect of this talent (maxed) is a 16.5% average damage increase for the lightning spells (.5 damage * .33 chance = .165).
• Lightning Overload procs seem to be able to proc Lightning Overload themselves, though the damage of the resulting spell does is still calculated as half of the original one.
