Eclipse

Eclipse is a row 1 Balance druid talent. It provides a pair of effects that are interlinked with two of their casted spells, Wrath and Starfire.

Casting one of those spells twice grants an effect that empowers the opposite type of spell for a short duration, and both types of Eclipse also increase the spell damage appropriate for the empowered spell.

• Because of the mechanics of multi-school damage, any abilities with the astral damage type will get a damage bonus from either type of eclipse. Notable astral spells include both of the main Astral Power spenders, making either type of Eclipse a good time to use those spender abilities.

• Solstice increases frequency of Shooting Stars in approximately the first third of an eclipse.

• Prior to patch 7.0.3, the Eclipse Bar was the secondary resource of Balance druids, requiring the generation of 100 Solar or Lunar energy to achieve the related buffs.
