For unicode representations of special characters see.
There, go to the 2nd table "Two-byte representation". On the left hand side you'll see 2 numbers for each row. For example: 195, 160 for the line with the different "e" characters. On top of each column there is a hexadecimal number from 1 - F which is 1-15 decimal. You just have to add the decimal value of the column number to the second number of the row and that's your code.
So far, three addons have been developed which allow joining of server channels whose locale differ from that of the WoW-client. In their chronological order, these addons are: Localizer by Lordship, Chat_Localizer by Sarih, and chatloc/clcore by blackart.
In China, many models had to be edited due to not being allowed to show bones or blood. Bones and skulls are usually replaced by loaves of bread. Blood is a green color. Among the affected mobs are:
- Abominations, stitched belly
- Bone giants (Skeletal Reaver, Bone Guard), usually replaced by Forsaken
- Bone wraiths (Lord Marrowgar), model touched up
- Flesh giants (Pustulent Colossus), usually replaced by storm giants
- Forsaken, changed not to show bones anymore
- Frost wyrms (Sindragosa, Frostbrood Matriarch, Sapphiron), usually replaced by blue dragons
- Generic skeletons are often replaced by Forsaken wearing uniforms matching how the skeletons would dress before their death. For example, the Risen Soldiers of Icecrown are wearing a variety of Lordaeron, Valiance Expedition and 7th Legion uniforms
- Skeletal mages (Scourge Soulbinder), model touched up
- Vargul (Vargul Wanderer), model touched up
- Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade, replaced by a dark gryphon
- Slimes and oozes where skull parts would be present have had those removed.
- Blood elementals are shown in greyscale.
These models can be enabled on other clients such as US and EU by adding in the Config.wtf file.
