Mathredis Firestar

Mathredis Firestar is a blood elf quest giver located at Flame Crest in the Burning Steppes. He was a mage who sought to slake his racial magic addiction by feeding off of the energies released during the creation of Arcanums, powerful magic gems invented by Mathredis's deceased master, Telmius Dreamseeker, who was murdered in Dire Maul while attempting to gain knowledge from the Shen'dralar ancients therein.

While his master's three most powerful arcanums were beyond his abilities, Mathredis could create the Lesser Arcanums of Constitution, Resilience, Rumination, Tenacity, and Voracity when provided with the proper librams and magical materials.

Mathredis has been missing since the Cataclysm, and unlike most of Flame Crest's former residents, he does not appear in Blackrock Depths. His current status is unknown.

Now we search for these librams. Search to find the secrets they hold - to restore power once had.

I search for the ten written by Master Telmius Dreamseeker. Should you find a libram, allow me to absorb its magical properties and for you I shall craft an amalgamation of power... of course, all things come at some cost. You will find my cost to be high; but pay you shall.
