Pathfinder's Den

Pathfinder's Den (or Orgrimmar Portal Room) is a portal room found within the Gates of Orgrimmar. From here, the mages of Orgrimmar and their allies, maintain portals to a number of different areas on Azeroth, Outland, and.

During Saurfang's rebellion, the entrances to Orgrimmar became surrounded by his allies, and the city was locked down on Sylvanas' orders, causing Pathfinder's Den to be closed down as well. Several adventurers demanded to enter the room, but Stoki Wonderwand didn't allow them and directed them to the Warchief instead. When Saurfang challenged Sylvanas to mak'gora, she killed him and abandoned the Horde. The portal room was opened, but Stoki remained distrustful of the former banshee loyalists, promptly refusing them to use her portals. With Orgrimmar without Warchief, the den was patrolled by First Arcanist Thalyssra who calmed any quarrels here, explaining Stoki the importance of forgiveness. Lady Liadrin and her squad of Blood Knights started her patrol from here as well.

• When asked Orgrimmar Grunts for the directions of the Portal to Caverns of Time, their dialogue window erroneously states that the Caverns of Time are in Silithus instead of Tanaris.
• The area uses a skybox that shows a moon through the ceiling, despite the time and weather in the overworld.
• It is unclear whether some of the NPC backgrounds, such as Forsaken members of the Argent Crusade opening a portal to Dalaran in Northrend (with there being no Argent representatives in the Stormwind portal room), have any kind of lore significance.
• Some of their portals, such as the Mag'har orc portal to, appear to exist only for gameplay purposes since, lorewise, the alternate Draenor was sealed off some time before the Fourth War.
