• Initial gossip
• Why, hello stranger. You look like a creature that has stories to tell.
• What a fascinating jawline you have. And such coloration? Where did you come from?
• Wow. You look... um... well... different than I would have expected. Are there more like you?
• So, stranger, are you the wild and crazy type like the hozen?
• Or the quiet and thoughtful type like the jinyu?
• Where did you come from?
• Are there more like you?
• Are you from beyond the wall?
• What interesting colors you are wearing. Did you weave that yourself?

• Later gossip
• I hear the hozen and jinyu have been increasing their skirmishes. Those poor little creatures will destroy each other if they aren't careful. It is quite a vicious cycle they are trapped in.
• Your accent is strange. Are you from the Valley of the Four Winds?
• And what are you? I've seen many things in my day but you are certainly a first. Has the turtle returned? I always thought that was a myth.
• Are you an adventurer? We don't hear about many adventures around here except the stories Tzu tells us.
• The Jade Serpent is nearly complete. You know what that means? Several months of cheering, celebrating, sleeping, and brewing! I can't wait!
• I need to make sure to get in my sixth and seventh nap today if I expect to be ready for my big snooze.
• New to town? You should try Chin's noodles. They are the stuff of local legend.

• Gossip after the battle at Serpent's Heart
• The Jade Serpent statue was destroyed? How could this have happened?
• Did all of the jinyu and the hozen perish in that battle? Were there survivors?
• What is this "sha"? Where did it come from?
• The poor hozen and jinyu! We knew they didn't like each other but to go this far...
• Will you help us heal the land?
• Will you help us against he sha?
