Mangled Body

A Mangled Body lies along the road to Northwatch Hold in the Southern Barrens. Although there are wild raptors, hyenas and other animals in the area, the suspicious state of the body leads to the quest Scavenged to investigate it.

For those who are not sufficient level or have simply completed the quest already, it simply has gossip text explaining the state of the body.

• Scavenged

<The unfortunate soldier you find at the side of the road has been gutted with what appears to have been long knives. Rolling the body over, you notice teeth marks.>''

• Gossip

<Could wild animals have done this?>
