Defending Haven

Defeat 13 Mawsworn in the Great Veldt.

• Mawsworn attackers slain (13)

The Mawsworn are gathering in force outside our very gates. It is clear they mean to overrun our home!

The Enlightened wish only to honor the marvels of the First Ones in peace. Haven's defensive barrier was put in place to shield us from minor threats. We did not imagine the Jailer would send his forces against us.

You claim to be our ally, mortal? Then help us defend this sacred land.

You will receive:

• +250 reputation with The Enlightened
• Emblem of Renown

Our pilgrims cannot continue like this.

You have proven your mettle, yet the enemy grows bolder.

Pelagos stays behind in Haven while the player gets to work. Kill Mawsworn Deadeyes, Mawsworn Chargers, Mawsworn Commanders, Mawsworn Binders, and Anima Seekers.

Upon completing both quests, a cutscene plays:

• The Mawsworn continue bombarding Haven. Elder Ara, Pelagos, and the player run over to join the Enlightened crowd at the edge of the shield.

• Over in the Great Veldt, the Jailer himself strides into view, looking out at Haven. The lesser Mawsworn look at him, awaiting a command.

• He turns around and walks away in the direction of the Forge of Afterlives.

• The Mawsworn collectively sheathe their weapons and follow him.

On the other side of the cutscene, the Enlightened who stood gathered in front of the shield disperse to their normal spots throughout town, bringing Haven into its normal phase.
