Cogwheel (MVP)

Cogwheel, aka Matthew Orlando, was an MVP on the UI & Macros Forum, but resigned in late December 2008 ("I reached my tolerance threshhold for not telling people what i REALLY think ;)")

Shortly after the UI Add-on Development Policy was introduced, Cogwheel edited his macro guide posts with a message of protest. In response, Blizzard erased virtually every post of his from the forums and banned him for a week. He has only posted very sporadically since his farewell to the community.

Cogwheel is a gnome. Some of his gnomish exploits include:

• Being a former UI & Macros forum MVP
• Authoring numerous addons (see Cogwheel's Workshop)
• Co-authoring a book on writing addons
• Laying waste to sprockets at every opportunity
