Efrem the Faithful

Efrem the Faithful is a level 80 human at the Savage Ledge in Icecrown. He left the Scarlet Onslaught to become a champion of the Lich King. Players are asked to defeat him for the quest Eliminate the Competition. Before he can be killed, he surrenders to the adventurer and promises to leave. He has not been seen since.

• Come, vrykul dogs. I will fight you!
• Fight me now, vrykul, or be labeled a coward!
• You dare to touch ME?! You won't keep me from proving myself to the Lich King!
• Wait, wait... I surrender! Please, no more! I'll leave!

• Probably based off of Ephrem the Syrian. Efrem is part of the Scarlet Onslaught and is thus assumed to be religious, and Ephrem the Syrian is a Saint and also a Doctor of the Church in (Roman) Catholicism.
