Amber is a wood-panel scroll leaning against the base of a mantid idol, located at at the back of the Amber Vault, underneath the Sunset Brewgarden in the Dread Wastes. spawns immediately in front of it.
Interacting with the scroll is one of the requirements of the Pandaria exploration achievement Heart of the Mantid Swarm.
