Maelir

Maelir is a Highborne night elf mage trainer located near the Temple of the Moon in Darnassus. He is seen talking to Dyrhara.

When the Horde invaded night elven lands, Queen Mia Greymane asked him to help her evacuate the Gilneans at the Howling Oak. During the Burning of Teldrassil, he was maintaining the portal to Stormwind City in the Temple. It is not known whether he ultimately left it and survived or not.

The magic of today pales in comparison to that of millennia past. Still, we Highborne know much of the arcane. Are you ready to learn?

Arcane Momentum is a technique that allows a mage to use their physical momentum to dictate the direction of their Blink spell rather than the basic technique of Blinking in the direction you are facing.
