Mastering the Arcane

Reach level 3 to learn Frost Nova, then practice casting it 2 times on a Training Dummy south of the entrance to Northshire Abbey.

• Practice casting Frost Nova (2)

As a mage, you will learn a variety of spells as your understanding grows. All you need to do is get some more experience, and the secrets of the arcane will reveal themselves to you. You'll see. Go develop your powers, and show me what you learn.

Well, did you give it a try?

Have you mastered the use of Arcane Missiles already? You are a quick study in the arcane arts and you have a promising future ahead. Don't forget to return to me for training as you grow in power.

You will receive: (or at max level)

• 250 XP
• 250 reputation with Stormwind

Interact with Khelden again to purchase Arcane Missiles for at most, then exit the abbey and take a left to find a ring of training dummies.

Cast Fireball until Arcane Missiles lights up, then cast Arcane Missiles. Then repeat.
