Geirrvif

Geirrvif is a Val'kyr quest giver located in Valhalas in Icecrown. Geirrvif is the watcher and judge of the Valhalas Tournament battles and oversees whether the challengers win or lose. Despite her status as a Val'kyr, she is very friendly to the adventurers.

During their travels through Northrend, the brothers Bronzebeard noted that Geirrvif was still alive, and still overseeing Valhalas. She is the last of the known Scourge Val'kyr, having been stated to have survived the War against the Lich King. Unlike her sisters, she was not amongst the The Nine Scourge raised Val'kyr; whom she also has outlived.

• Character too low level
• You have not yet proven yourself worthy enough to issue a challenge within Valhalas,.
• Return when you have earned a name for yourself.

• During questline
• Many have fallen within Valhalas and their corpses are a testament to the strength of our ways.
• Will your bones litter this place of honor and battle as well, ?

• After questline
• Champion . It is good to see you again.
• Have you returned to Valhalas to assist a friend with their challenges?

• If you die she will yell "You were not prepared!"
• She was present in Icecrown during Death Rising, though Valhalas was not updated for the event. Regardless, her inclusion appears to be in-line with her canonical fate.

Given her positive disposition towards the player, and the fact that she was not a part of The Nine and has remained in her duties at Valhalas, it is possible Geirrvif was one of the original Val'kyr who were corrupted by the Lich King, rather than created by him.
