An Exceptional Platinum Shard (Alliance)

Bring the Exceptional Platinum Shard to Myra Cabot.

• Exceptional Platinum Shard (provided)

Out of dumb luck, you've managed to extract an exceptionally large shard of platinum, instead of several smaller chunks.

You wonder to yourself if Myra could teach you to harvest this much every time.

You will learn: Mining Technique: Platinum Deposit (Rank 2)

Oh, wow! This is really impressive. You managed to get a decently sized shard of platinum in a single piece.

It looks like you managed to hit the ore in line with it's [sic] strata... Think of it like chopping wood with the grain, instead of against it.

You know, I bet if you sacrificed some of the power of your swing to keep the pick in line with the strata, you could probably get chunks this size all the time!
