Blizzard Albany, formerly known as Vicarious Visions, is a team under Blizzard Entertainment located in Albany, New York.
It began working with Blizzard in 2019, starting with work on Battle.net integration. In 2020, alongside Team 3, it began work on Diablo II: Resurrected, taking over from Team 1.
Vicarious Visions was moved over from Activision to Blizzard in early 2021 and would focus entirely on Blizzard's franchises. They were merged with Blizzard on 12 April 2022 and renamed to Blizzard Albany and would be fully dedicated to Blizzard games.
