Tsegzaya

Tsegzaya was the first daughter of Teera, the first matriarch of the Maruuk centaur. She stepped up to lead and revitalize the centaur after her mother's death, but faced many hardships. She was encouraged by her friend Dihar, who knew that she was capable and compared her leadership qualities—heart, strength, and compassion—to a quiver of arrows that she could fire all at once to win the Maruuk over.

Tsegzaya only laughed at this, but Dihar named her weapon—Tsegzaya, the Brambled Bow—in her honor and used it to show her friend that she could fire many arrows at once with precision. Dihar didn't leave Tsegzaya's side until her own death.

Although she is not identified with the title, Dihar's description would indicate that Tsegzaya was the second Khanam Matra of the Maruuk.
