Matron

The witch matrons, also called nightscreamers, are witches and the leaders of the Heartsbane Coven and part of the Drust forces later invading Ardenweald. When a witch grows powerful enough, they slit their own throats to ascend into this form. Lady Waycrest, also known as the Mother, is the leader of the witch coven. Gorak Zhar is leading the Drust invasion into Ardenweald.
