Furnace (Blackrock Spire)

The Furnace is an area of Upper Blackrock Spire. It is accessed from the hallways beyond the Blackrock Stadium, opposite the entrance to Blackwing Lair.

The Furnace held several groups of orcs and dragonspawn, but its most significant occupant was the Beast, a core hound used as a pet by General Drakkisath, who could be found in the Spire Throne just across the bridge.

The Furnace has been repurposed as a dragon roost by the Black Iron. Several chained proto-dragons can be found here, handled by Black Iron Wyrmcallers and Black Iron Drake-Keepers.
