Arvell

Arvell was a night elf druid and the best friend of Ralaar Fangfire. He fought alongside Malfurion Stormrage and the rest of the druids, during the War of the Satyr. He fell to a Satyr attack when he dutifully followed Malfurion's edict, and refused to use the Pack Form to save himself. He may have had a child with Belysra some time before his death, named Ishala.

His ghost would later reappear during the invasion of Gilneas as a spirit wolf. He killed his friend Ralaar in order to defend his lover Belysra. Arvell tells Belysra that long ago he swore that not even death would keep them apart and he meant that. She apologizes for all that she has done in his name but is cut off when he kisses her saying all trespasses are forgiven. He wishes all her wounds, physical and otherwise, be healed. He yearns to stay but his presence goes against the natural order and he begins to dissipate with her saying a final good bye.

• In the picture shown to the right in the character box, one can notice it appears Arvell had horns similar to those of Broll Bearmantle or Malfurion, although not as large.
• Arvell's Moonkin Form is the brown tauren design, rather than the purple night elven one. It is unknown if this was intentional or a mistake on the part of the artist.
