Teera and Maruuk

Teera and Maruuk together serve as a boss encounter in the Nokhud Offensive, fought in the Eternal Kurgans. Gravelord Monkh is initially seen conducting a ritual to summon their spirits. After all four Ukhel Soulharvesters (Duuren, Galtmaa, Mandakh, and Tumen) have been killed, Monkh completes his ritual and Teera and Maruuk appear from their kurgan, but they promptly kill Monkh and become attackable themselves.

''Ukhel necromancers are resurrecting legendary centaur. The spirits of the first matriarch, Teera, and the centaur's greatest warrior, Maruuk, have risen from their graves. Once their fury has abated, perhaps they can find rest again... and eternal peace.''

As the progenitors of the Maruuk centaurs, Teera and Maruuk crushes their enemies with ancient tactics.

At 100 energy, Teera begins to cast Gale Arrow while Maruuk protects her with Frightful Roar.

At 100 energy, Maruuk attacks players with Earthsplitter. Teera repels players from Maruuk using Guardian Wind.

• Gale Arrow creates damaging tornadoes that travel through the battlefiled [sic].
• Earthsplitter inflicts heavy damage to any player in the area on impact.

• Maruuk often casts Brutalize on his current target.
• Maruuk's Frightful Roar will cause nearby players to flee.
• Teera will target random players with her Quick Shot.

• Maruuk oftne casts Brutalize on his current target.
• Earthsplitter inflicts heavy damage to any player in the area on impact.
• Maruuk's Frightful Roar will cause nearby players to flee.
• Ancestral Bond increases damage dealt by Teera and Maruuk when they are more than 10 yards apart.

The loot from the encounter is obtained from the Ancestors' Treasure Trove.

• They drop Sarantuya the Ever-True and Batubar the Relentless for The Nokhud Offensive: Founders Keepers.

• In the alpha, the couple's Adventure Guide entry read somewhat differently: "Blasphemous Ukhel necromancers are resurrecting legendary centaur. The spirits of Teera, the matriarch of the Ohn'ahran clans, and Maruuk, the centaur's greatest warrior, have been raised from their graves. Blinded by painful and traumatic memories of their past, the two legends now answer the commands of Balakar and the Nokhud centaur! Only the tumult of battle can rouse them from necromantic manipulation. Once their fury has abated, perhaps they can find rest again... and eternal peace."
