Blighthound

Blighthounds are mastiffs found in Marris Stead in Eastern Plaguelands. They were the pets of Nathanos Blightcaller, who used them to slaughter Scourge. Nathanos fed them with Coagulated Rot.

• Blighthounds originally used hyena models but were updated to mastiffs in Cataclysm. Curiously, they've kept their hyena sounds, despite their model change.
• Despite this, the Blighthounds in Stormheim use hyena models.
