Blip

Blip is an occasionally used term for a "dot" (what Blizzard calls it) on the mini-map representing something a player character is trying to track.

Types of blips:

• [[File:Iconsmall-obj4.png]] for players.
• [[File:Iconsmall-obj3.png]] for players (non-PvP flagged other faction too).
• [[File:Iconsmall-obj2.png]] for players.

• [[File:Iconsmall-obj7.png]] for NPCs.
• [[File:Iconsmall-obj5.png]] for NPCs.
• [[File:Iconsmall-obj6.png]] for NPCs.
• [[File:Iconsmall-obj8.png]] for resource nodes, prior to patch 10.0.0.
• [[File:Iconsmall-obj8b.png]] for nodes in separate from character area (above/below).
