Levixus the Soul Caller

Destroy Levixus and take the Book of the Dead from his possession.

Deliver the Book of the Dead to Ramdor the Mad standing outside the Auchenai Crypt entrance of Auchindoun.

You had a deal, remember?

• The Book of the Dead

Go now,. You will find Levixus on the uppermost ruins of Auchindoun. Enter there from the southern reaches of the Bone Wastes. He stands amidst a storm of souls...

Destroy him and take the book of the dead. Once you have the cursed book in your possession, destroy it! Destroy it so that such an atrocity can never again be made possible.

Who are you and what do you want? Oh... It's YOU.

If the old draenei said to destroy the book, why didn't you?

<Ramdor glares at you.>

Bah, what's the difference. You might be greedy but at least you're honest.

Me on the other hand... I lied to get this book. I have no idea where these poor lost souls kept their treasure nor would I tell you if I did - however - I do have something for you. You did a good thing on this day. Perhaps a great thing... You should be rewarded.

By the way, welcome to the fold.

<Ramdor points to the spirits.>

Complete:

• say
• Ramdor walks down from the pile of bones he is standing on, and places the book on the floor. The book then begins to burn.
• say
• Ramdor walks back up onto the pile of bones.

• 17,450 XP
• +500 reputation with The Sha'tar

There are strategies out there that recommend kiting him to the Sha'tari Base Camp. Note: If Levixus mind controls you and you kill one of the defenders, it costs you 1250 rep with them, down to 0/3000 neutral. They are 70 lvl elites, so its pretty unlikely, but Levixus can also mind control them... (This note refers to an earlier version of the quest: the quest originally recommended a group of three, as Levixus was a level 66 elite demon and notoriously hard to kill because of his Mind Control and the infernals he summoned.)
