In Alterac Valley one of the secondary PvP goals is to kill the Captain of the opposing side.

These NPCs do not respawn when killed.
- Benefits of your Captain
- Periodically gives all PC allies in Alterac Valley a size, DPS and 20% flat HP buff.
- Benefits of killing the opposing Captain
- Killing grants bonus honor.
- Killing disables the respawning of some enemy troops.
- Killing grants an additional periodic buff if your Captain is still alive
