Uplands

The Uplands is a region with hills in northwestern Alterac Mountains. It was the bread basket of the kingdom of Alterac, but after the destruction of the core of that nation, the Uplands fell under the control of the Syndicate, who have several camps in the area. This area is where they are strongest. Baron Vardus could be found here. Dandred's Fold is found in the westernmost part of the Uplands.

No quests take place here anymore and this area no longer serves any purpose.

The Uplands is a mountainous area controlled by the Syndicate. They might have a base here, though it is not known exactly where. This is a dangerous area and Syndicate members would probably murder their own grannies for a copper piece, so it is better to avoid going through here. Lord Aiden Perenolde, a high-ranking Syndicate member, resides within his keep here and his home is considered the meeting place for the Alteraci nobles.
