Blinding Shadow

Blinding Shadow is an arcane elemental located in The Rift of Maw, where Soulforger Rhovus normally spawns at Zovaal's Cauldron. See the Rift article for information on how to access the Rift.
The arcane elemental is also required for Conquering Korthia, and grants 5% progress toward Shaping Fate.
To help make the fight more tolerable, destroy 20 Ancient Phylacteries in the area before engaging. Each phylactery destroyed grants a stacking -3% magic damage taken buff for 5 minutes, up to 20 stacks (or -60%).
