Shadowflame Crests

Shadowflame Crests introduces players to the other half of Dragonflight Season 2 PvE gear upgrades: Shadowflame Crests.

Visit Spinsoa and create a Shadowflame Crest by combining 15 Shadowflame Crest Fragments from the same tier.

• Visit Spinsoa
• Use 15 fragments to create a Shadowflame Crest (Optional)
• Obtain a Shadowflame Crest

Now that you've gotten a taste of power, the real fun begins.

Flightstones alone will only get you so far. We have also discovered four different tiers of Shadowflame Crests, which are required to empower ever more powerful gear.

Fifteen fragments can be combined to make a complete crest of its tier. Like Flightstones, fragments can be found across the Dragon Isles. The more dangerous the activity, the more powerful the fragments.

And if you need fragments, visit Spinsoa outside. He can sell some.

You will receive:

• Friendship Censer
• Obsidian Flightstone (100 Flightstones)
• 9,500 XP

Have you found enough fragments?

Perfection. Upgrade specialists will always identify if crests are needed for your upgrade.

Speaking of power, please take this trinket! I was told to distribute them to Loamm's newcomers as a welcome gift.

We can utilize the trinket in our next lesson.

Spinsoa, who runs the Unearthed Fragrant Coin Exchange, is outside the building to the east. No need to purchase anything.

Players received 15x Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest Fragment from the previous quest. Use them to create a Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest.

There are four versions of Shadowflame Crests and their fragment equivalents:

• Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest Fragment (raid finder; 402-411)
• Drake's Shadowflame Crest Fragment (normal; 415-424)
• Wyrm's Shadowflame Crest Fragment (heroic; 428-437)
• Aspect's Shadowflame Crest Fragment (mythic; 441)
