Redbelly Mandarin

Redbelly Mandarin have a high chance to be caught from Redbelly Mandarin Schools in the inland waters of the Townlong Steppes. They also have a common chance to be caught when fishing in open water in Vale of Eternal Blossoms (what little remains of it, anyway) or open freshwater in the Jade Forest or Townlong Steppes with high enough fishing skill. When the fish of the day is Redbelly Mandarin, they will be frequently caught at the Fields of Niuzao in Townlong. Prior to patch 5.4, they could also be found in schools in Vale of Eternal Blossoms, but the destruction of almost all the lakes and rivers by Garrosh Hellscream throwing the Heart of Y'Shaarj into the water in front of Mogu'shan Palace has eliminated them.

It is a cooking ingredient in a few recipes, including certain raid feasts.

They can also be purchased from Nam Ironpaw at Halfhill Market in Valley of the Four Winds; one Ironpaw Token purchases a Sack of Redbelly Mandarin which contains five of them.
