Aegis of the Scarlet Commander

The Aegis of the Scarlet Commander is a shield. It gives bonuses to strength, stamina, and dodge. It has a red Scarlet Crusade flame symbol.

This item dropped from Scarlet Commander Mograine in Scarlet Monastery. It has a Medium (25% - 50%) Drop Chance.

This item was often used by level 40 warriors as a tanking shield well into level 50, until they could acquire either a Crest of Supremacy from Sunken Temple or a Bind on Equip.

"This burnished copper shield displays stylized flames on its surface. A dull red glow emanates from the shield.

Rumor holds that these shields, once carried by knights of the Holy Light, used to glow white. As their owners turned to the Scarlet Crusade, so did their light turn blood red."
