The Wayward Baron

Open Balmedar's Supplies at the tower near the Scaplian Ridge.

• Locate Balmedar's Supplies

It has come to my attention that you seek to uncover a plot by the baron Kel'Thuzad.

That upstart has been a thorn in my side since he arrived at the House of Rituals. Not only did he pilfer my rightfully earned title, he has since shut me out of the house's dealings.

I have yet to find evidence that would mar Sin'dane's adoration for her new baron, and thus I offer an arrangement. I grant you access to the House of Rituals, and in return you help me bring down Kel'Thuzad.

Do we have an accord?

You will receive:

• 1,000 XP

<Balmedar's voice resonates from the floating eye.>

You really didn't think I would risk meeting you here in person, did you?

Come, we have much work to do.

Balmedar then floats out the Seat's main entrance and despawns.

The nearest flight path is Keres' Rest. Get to the marked location on the map at Scaplian Ridge to find a chest of Balmedar's Supplies. Open it to reveal Balmedar's Oculus:

• Name: Breadcrumb to House of Rituals

It has come to my attention that your... group here... seeks entrance into the House of Rituals. I have come to offer an arrangement.

• Description

Margrave Sin'dane has put too much faith into her newest baron, Kel'thuzad [sic].

Oh, you've heard of him? No matter...

I believe this new baron will lead the House of Rituals to ruin, but I lack the evidence to convince the margrave. If you can assist me in finding proof of his malfeasance, then I can grant you access within our halls.
