Spires of Arak storyline

The Spires of Arak storyline is the level-up experience in the Spires of Arak. Players are led here from their faction outposts in Talador. The Adherents of Rukhmar are waging a war of extermination of the cursed arakkoa, and one of the first things that players see is the Skyreach superweapon obliterating Veil Akraz!

The storyline tracking achievement is called Between Arak and a Hard Place and has nine chapters. The chapters are somewhat interleaved, as the zone storyline does not play out linearly.

The storyline continues with the "Securing Southport" / "Establishing Axefall" chapter with One of Our Own.

After getting to Veil Terokk, a member of the adventurer's team finds himself captured. Release him and choose an outpost to build at town.

After completing Orders, Commander?, several chains open up. Percy will resume the zone storyline with Return to Veil Terokk; Jasper Fel or Shadow Hunter Ukambe want to check out Admiral Taylor's Garrison in Old Friends (Spires of Arak) / What's Theirs is Ours; and a short chain will be offered depending on which building was chosen.

After finishing the building quest chain, the breadcrumb to Pinchwhistle Gearworks opens up in the eponymous quest, Pinchwhistle Gearworks (quest).

After choosing the inn or the trading post at town, Percy pops up with Return to Veil Terokk.

The storyline continues with the "Lessons of the Apexis" chapter with Power Unearthed.

After coming Back from Beyond, Darkscryer Raastok offers a breadcrumb to the Apexis Excavation.

The storyline continues with Rites of the Talonpriests.

The maddened, cursed, followers of Sethe are attempting to resurrect him, but Anzu stands in their way.

The Talonpriests are attempting to summon Terokk so they can use his power against the Adherents.

After completing the "The Gods of Arak" chapter, Anzu begins the "When the Raven Swallows the Day" chapter with Cult of the Ravenspeakers. The Ravenspeakers are an addled sect of the cursed arakkoa, but the deity they worship, Ka'alu, the consort of Anzu, actually exists.

After choosing a building in Orders, Commander?, Jasper Fel or Shadow Hunter Ukambe want to check out Admiral Taylor's Garrison in Old Friends (Spires of Arak) / What's Theirs is Ours. Something has gone horribly wrong.

A mysterious fungus has sprung up and is causing all kinds of problems at the goblin towns at the southern tip of Spires of Arak. Completing this part of the storyline is necessary to obtain Salvage Yard, Level 1 building blueprint.

There are four bonus objectives in Spires of Arak. Completing them all awards the achievement Arak Star.

• Bloodmane Pridelands (bonus objective)
• Bladefist Hold (bonus objective)

After completing the storyline in its entirety and obtaining Between Arak and a Hard Place achievement, speak to to recruit him as a follower.
