Skoll

Skoll is a large, worg spirit beast and one of Thorim's two pet wolves, with Hati. He is a rare spawn, appearing every 8–16 hours in one of three known locations in Storm Peaks. Skoll is notable for being the first non-feline spirit beast. He is also known for the lightning effect that crackles around his body. Like all spirit beasts, he requires the Exotic Beasts talent to tame.

Following the war against the Jailer, the brothers Bronzebeard met Thorim at the Temple of Storms. When they asked him about Skoll, the Keeper sheepishly replied that he was sure Skoll would wander home soon.

• Despite being a rare creature, Skoll is not on the list of creatures needed for the Northern Exposure achievement.
• In Norse mythology, Skoll and Hati are two wolves who pursue the sun and moon through the sky in hopes of devouring them. At Ragnarok, the downfall of the cosmos, they catch their prey as the sky and earth darken and collapse.
