Sea serpent

Sea serpents are large serpents living in the seas of Azeroth. The sea serpents made their first appearance in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm in the Kelp'thar Forest of Vashj'ir. They shouldn't be confused with the gigantic eels that also roam the areas.

The venom of the murkscale strikers of the Krasarang Wilds causes a potentially deadly condition that the locals call "the murksweats".

They don't usually migrate as far north as Durotar, as a general rule.

There is one known sea serpent on Argus, Slithon the Last in Eredath.
