These are unique IDs for zone maps and can be returned from for the current zone or for the currently viewed map. They can be passed to or. The values are defined in

  • See InstanceID for identifying map instances instead of UI maps.
  • In Patch 8.0.1 the map API was updated, replacing WorldMapAreaID and DungeonMapID with UiMapID.
  • Certain UI maps for dungeons/raids don't actually seem to be usable in, even if returns the respective ID while in one.
