Stephen Ryback

Stephen Ryback is a human cooking trainer located in the Pig and Whistle Tavern in the Old Town of Stormwind City. He is apparently well known for the rack of ribs he serves up from a personal recipe.

• The name is derived from the actor Steven Seagal and his character Casey Ryback in the 1992 film Under Siege, where Seagal played an ex-special forces guy who was a cook aboard a US aircraft carrier. Near Ryback is Erika Tate, a cooking vendor. This is a reference to the character Jordan Tate in the same movie played by the actress Erika Eleniac. Stormwind guards refer to the film by saying "From the way he handles a knife, I don't think he was always a chef."
