Baine Bloodhoof, our High Chieftain, once stood on this very spot and watched over this village, named for his tribe.

• Gossip

• Although Ahmo replaced Baine as the quest giver, Ultimate Visual Guides still refer to Baine as the leader of Bloodhoof Village.
• Thunderhorn had appeared in Baine's place in Bloodhoof during the PTR for patch 3.2.2, but Baine was still present when 3.2.2 went live; Thunderhorn did not appear on live servers until patch 4.0.3, which heralded the release of Cataclysm.
• There's an unused Legion ID indicating he would be a part of the scrapped Legion Invasions of Mulgore.

Elder Thunderhorn may be his ancestor.
