Bethekk

Bethekk, the panther, is a Zandalari loa, also revered by the Gurubashi. Bethekk was held in Zul'Gurub against her will during the time when the Hakkari were attempting to resurrect Hakkar the Soulflayer. Her champion was High Priestess Kilnara, the sister of the previous champion, High Priestess Arlokk, who was killed several years earlier prompting Bethekk to choose her sister as her next mortal champion, until she was also killed in turn.

• Bethekk was at one point HS Bethekk, the Panther (considered for inclusion) in the Hearthstone expansion Rastakhan's Rumble as the patron loa of the shaman class. However, she was ultimately cut in favor of Krag'wa as Team 5 felt that the expansion didn't need another big cat loa since they already had Halazzi and Shirvallah, and frogs felt "a little bit sillier and funnier" than panthers.
