Unfortunately, when ownership of the estate changed hands, the staff were all displaced and forced to find new work. Some of us found suitable roles within favorable households. After all, everyone needs a sommelier!

Others were not so lucky. They're still here in the Old Gate, taking odd jobs to survive. I'm sure they'll be eager to work for the Duke again once they learn we're reestablishing the household.
