Transmorphic Tincture

Transmorphic Tincture is a potion created by alchemists that causes characters to appear as the other gender for five minutes.

This item is created with Alchemy (1); taught by Recipe: Transmorphic Tincture.

• The effect persists through shapeshifting (for example, for druids and shamans).
• Worgen are locked into their worgen form for the duration of the effect and cannot use Two Forms. If used in human form, the potion will force the character into worgen form.
• All gender-specific quest text changes to match the character's apparent gender.
• Interaction between the Transmorphic Tincture and Masquerade varies depending on the order in which they are applied. If the potion is drunk before applying Masquerade, the Transmorphic Tincture's effect will be ignored and the player character will be disguised as a nightborne of the same gender as their real one. If Masquerade is applied first, the Transmorphic Tincture will remove its visual effect and disguise the character as a gender-swapped version of their real appearance. However, in both cases, the actual buffs will still persist. In particular, in the second case, even with the player character no longer looking like a nightborne, the Masquerade buff will still persist and NPCs in Suramar City will react as such.
• The buff does not affect the value returned by the UnitSex function.
