Ravandwyr

Ravandwyr (pronounced "RAH-van-dweer") is a high elf quest giver located at Area 52 in the Netherstorm.

Although he is a mage, he also entertains people with his illusionist tricks. He is the apprentice of the Archmage Vargoth, who is trapped in the tower of Kirin'Var Village. The quests given by Ravandwyr lead to the reconstruction of his master's staff and, later on, to breaking the seal on the tower.

Ravandwyr is eventually recruited by the Tirisgarde to aid their fight against the Burning Legion.

• Gossip
• 'Netherstorm' was not always as you see it now.

• There was a time when this crumbling land was know as the Plains of Farahlon. Little of those days has survived the evil that has taken hold here.
• Archmage Vargoth entrusted me with his staff when he told me to flee from the blood elf attack on the Violet Tower. I did as he told me, hoping to take refuge in the old draenei settlement of Arklon.

• There was to be no respite. I had walked right into the leading edge of the Burning Legion force. The demons wrested the staff from me, but I managed to escape with my life.

• Though my master knows nothing of my failure, it still shames me.
