Give Me A Hand

Assist Firim.

• Automa Hand extracted
• Genesis Guardian slain

To drive the Jailer from Zereth Mortis, we must direct all our resources against the enemy.

An object of potential power lies in a nearby repository, but the chamber's defenses respond only to automa. I would never harm their kind, but I have encountered one that no longer functions.

If you extract its hand, we could use the inert appendage to gain access to the repository.

I find such use of the First Ones' creations unsavory, but we cannot abide the presence of Mawsworn in this realm.

You will receive:

• 8,150 XP

Admittedly, I did not foresee this result.

On accept, Firim and his vombata run off to the Genesis Alcove.

Firim's gossip text:

• What a strange creature you are.

Interact with the door to open it. A Disabled Automa is waiting at the bottom with a friendly Genesis Guardian. Upon extracting the Disabled Automa Hand from the former, the guardian turns hostile and attacks:

• yell

Back outside, all the automa in the area have turned hostile. Automa Servitors have become Alerted Servitors, Genesis Guardians have become Alerted Genesis Guardians, and the Automa Colossus has become an Alerted Colossus. On completion:

Upon completion, Firim gets new gossip:

• This is just an unfortunate setback.
