Golden Flame

The Golden Flame is an artifact from Linken's homeland. It provides incredible amounts of power, and can be dangerous when in the hands of an evil being. The fire elemental Blazerunner guarded it and used it to create an aura that made him almost invincible. Linken asks adventurers to retrieve it, after which he says that it will be returned to his homeland and protected, "never again to be used for evil".

This item is looted from the Ornate Chest at the top of Fire Plume Ridge in Un'Goro Crater.

• Linken's entire questline is a reference to the games. The Golden Flame, with its golden triangle icon, is a reference to the Triforce, the divine object that has a central role in the plot of most of the games.
