Blacksmithing proficiencies

Blacksmithing proficiency refers to a characters training in Blacksmithing. The table below summarizes what level and skill required to advance to each proficiency.

Artisan Armorsmithing proficiency can be trained as early as level 30 and 200 skill and permits access to the following plans:

• Mail armor: Wildthorn Mail, Storm Gauntlets, Fiery Chain Girdle, Helm of the Great Chief, Invulnerable Mail, Fiery Chain Shoulders
• Plate armor: Truesilver Gauntlets, Truesilver Breastplate, Dark Iron Plate, Demon Forged Breastplate, Fiery Plate Gauntlets, Dark Iron Bracers, Whitesoul Helm, Lionheart Helm, Stronghold Gauntlets, Enchanted Thorium Helm, Enchanted Thorium Leggings, Enchanted Thorium Breastplate, Dark Iron Leggings, Dark Iron Helm, Dark Iron Gauntlets, Dark Iron Boots, Titanic Leggings

Artisan Weaponsmithing proficiency can be trained as early as level 30 and 200 skill and permits access to the following plans:

• Maces: The Shatterer, Dark Iron Pulverizer, Enchanted Battlehammer, Serenity (mace), Hammer of the Titans, Masterwork Stormhammer, Ebon Hand, Persuader
• Swords: Phantom Blade, Truesilver Champion, Blazing Rapier, Corruption (sword), Arcanite Champion, Frostguard, Dark Iron Reaver, Blackguard, Sageblade, Blazefury
• Polearms: Blight (polearm), Blackfury
• Axes: Dark Iron Sunderer, Dawn's Edge, Annihilator, Arcanite Reaper, Dark Iron Destroyer, Nightfall (axe)
• Daggers: Heartseeker, Black Amnesty
