The Broken Spear

Deliver the remains of Ara'lon's spear to Lord Herne at Heart of the Forest in Ardenweald.

• Broken Spear (Ardenweald) (provided)

<The shattered remains of a sylvari spear litter the ground. You recognize the spear as belonging to Ara'lon.

This confirms that Ara'lon was here. Unfortunately, he is nowhere to be found.

Lord Herne will want to know of your discovery.>

You will receive:

• 9,450 XP

What news do you bring?

Though this bodes ill, I am not ready to give up hope that Ara'lon survived. He may still be out there.

I will assemble a search party. We will find him and bring him home... no matter what fate has befallen him. Thank you.

In the Oaken Assembly for Witch's Satchel (quest), players will come across the Broken Spear, which starts this quest.
