Explosive

Last wiki revision 2023-08-12

An explosive is a consumable device that can cause damage or other effects when used. While in-game only Engineer players can use these weapons, many variants of sapper, bombardier and mortar operator NPCs are known to use explosives in battle.

A type of explosive only Engineers can use or craft that produces a Ground Targeted Area of Effect. Like Grenades and Mortars, bombs typically have a secondary effect (incapacitate, silence) as well as damage. They cannot be used while moving. When bombs are used, a green targetting symbol appears on the ground that can be moved around. The targetting symbol becomes a red 'no' symbol when moved out of range. After acquiring a valid target, click to throw the bomb. The table below summarizes the variety of bombs available to Engineers; skill required and effects. The secondary effect is noted as unreliable above a certain level (the level limit, below). *Requires Goblin Engineering to craft.
